サイズ	540×430×260 (HWD, mm), "Jyonen" refers to the intense, uncontrollable emotions or obsessions that well up within one’s heart. "Shirabyōshi" refers to a form of song and dance performed in men’s attire, which was popular from the late Heian period through to the Kamakura period, as well as to the performers or courtesans who performed it.
作家コメント	「白拍子花子〜情念の舞〜」「清姫〜怨念の舞〜」これらの連作は、華やかな歌舞伎舞踊である「京鹿子娘道成寺」に着想を得て制作した。「京鹿子娘道成寺」は「女」というものが様々にかたちを変え、男への恨みの表情を見せて行く。叶わなかった恋の恨み、女に生まれてしまったことへの恨み、時が過ぎていくことへの恨み、諸行無常であることへの恨み。大抵の場合、恨み辛みを抱いた女の姿というものは、醜く見苦しいものである。しかし、この作中に登場する、白拍子花子に乗り移った清姫の表情は凛々しく、見目麗しい。どろどろした女の情念を華やかな踊りとして表現することに挑戦した作品である。
作品説明	This series of works, “Shirabyōshi Hanako – Dance of Uncontrollable Emotions” and “Kiyohime – Dance of Vengiful Resentment,” were created inspired by the vibrant Kabuki play "Kyōkanoko Musume Dōjōji". In this piece, the figure of “woman” gradually begins to show a look of resentment towards the man　by shifting through various forms, revealing expressions of resentment—toward an unfulfilled love, toward being born a woman, toward the passing time, and toward "Shogyo Mujyo", or impermance of all things. Although such resentment often renders a woman’s appearance distorted and unpleasant, the face of Kiyohime who had possessed Shirabyōshi Hanako is strikingly dignified and beautiful. This work challenges the expression of deep eerie and viscous passions of women through the elegance of dance.
